Piano Lessons

I am a professional jazz pianist with 12 years of teaching experience. I teach folks how to read music and how to compose/improvise music with emotion and intention. Lessons emphasize theory/technique (playing with your 'thinking brain') along with aural skills (playing with your ear). I utilize a wide array of educational resources — lessons and material are tailored for each student’s unique goals, strengths, and areas of focus. 

I teach all skill levels and ages, from the 'total, complete beginner' to the 'gigging professional who wants to fine-tune their chops'. Lessons take place in your home or online.  I take extra hygeine precautions (mask; sanitizing wipes) to keep you safe and healthy during our lesson. 

Lessons run approximately 50 minutes and cost $80.
